- Consent from the person concerned
- House rules
- Declaration of Consent for Photo and Video Recordings
- Declaration of Consent for Processing Food Preference Data
- Fulfilment of the agreement concluded with the person concerned
- Archive management, statistics, research purposes
Should the provision of personal data for this data processing be required by law, by contract or for the conclusion of a contract, your failure to provide the data may result in the University of Vienna not being able to meet its obligations to you.
Your data will be forwarded to the following recipients outside the University of Vienna: Hidde De Jong (France), Wolfram Liebermeister (France), and Meike Wortel (the Netherlands).
The data will be forwarded to a third country (EU or EEA overseas) or an international organisation:

There is an existing European Commission directive on suitabilty for transfer to this third country:

My data will be deleted as soon as the aim of the processing has been achieved and insofar as no statutory requirements in respect of storing data apply.

This Supplement to the Data Protection Declaration applies exclusively to students who wish to apply as external students to the study programme univie: summer/winter schools by the International Office of the University of Vienna.

The purpose of data processing is as follows: Admittion to the study programme univie: summer/winter schools of the International Office. The party responsible for data processing is the University of Vienna, International Office, Universitätsring 1, 1010 Vienna, international.office@univie.ac. You can contact the data protection officers at the University of Vienna at: datenschutzbeauftragter@univie.ac.at.
The University of Vienna will process the following categories of personal data in the course of the current data processing:
- name, date of birth, nationality, gender, address, e-mail address, telephone number, discipline(s), matriculation number, average mark, bank account details, receipt of study assistance, letter of recommendation/review/language skills, details of trip abroad, passport photograph/copy of ID, emergency contact details
Legal basis for processing:
- Consent from the person concerned
- Fulfilment of the agreement concluded with the person concerned
- Fulfilment of a statutory obligation by the University of Vienna
- Archive management, statistics, research purposes

Depending upon the programme, the necessary personal data (including my nationality) may be forwarded to the host universities (including in non-EU countries), to the OeAD (Austrian educational exchange service) and the European Union (EU-Kss/Mobility Tool).
